Yorktown High School

Yorktown High School is pleased to announce Austin Stout as the new Head Varsity Baseball Coach. Austin is a dedicated baseball coach and recruiter with a proven track record of player development and program success. A 2013 graduate of Yorktown High School, he continued his playing career at Olney Central College and Northern Illinois University before transitioning into coaching. For the past eight years, Austin has served as an assistant coach at Yorktown High School, including four seasons as JV Head Coach. Beyond the high school season, Austin has played a pivotal role in shaping the futures of young athletes as the National Recruiting Director for the Marucci Prospects (formerly Indiana Prospects). In this role, he has helped 37 players earn Division I opportunities, with four athletes going on to be selected in the MLB Draft. Austin is passionate about developing the program, working with stakeholders and alumni and building pathways for athletes to succeed at the next level, Austin brings both experience and commitment to the Yorktown Baseball Program.
